Roade Community Library is part of the Northamptonshire Library network, offering the same great services and a friendly local touch.
We offer a full library service with over 8,000 books and access to thousands more that can be reserved from the Northamptonshire Library network.

We offer a wide range of services to support our community.
Borrow & Reserve
Borrow books, large print books, audiobooks, CDs and jigsaws.
Reserve items online and pick them up at the library.
Bus Pass Support
We can help you apply for your local bus pass. Just pop in and we'll guide you through the application.
Access eBooks, eAudiobooks and digital magazines with your library membership - anytime, anywhere.
Blue Badge Applications
We provide support and advice with Blue Badge applications and renewals.

Joining is simple.

(NB. If you join the library service online, you will have to go into your library to convert to full membership.)
What visitors can do:
Borrow up to 20 books or audiobooks for 3 weeks at a time
Search for and reserve books from other Northamptonshire libraries
Access thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks
Renew books online
Borrow up to 3 DVD's, CD's and Jigsaws for 3 weeks at a time

Inspiring Young Readers
We love helping children discover the joy of books, stories and learning.
From Rhymetime sessions for little ones to holiday activities and reading challenges for older children, Roade Community Library offers a welcoming space where young readers can learn, explore and grow.

11 - 11.30am

1 - 1.30pm
including school holidays
Rhymetime is free and fun for everyone, and suitable from Newborn to 5 years.
Help your child to develop their speech, while also learning to listen, join in with actions and to share with others. It's also a great way to meet other parents, grandparents and carers.
FREE. No booking required.

We have four on-site parking spaces, including one accessible disabled parking space. If these are full, additional on-street parking is available nearby within the village.
Roade is served by regular local bus services, making it easy to visit from Northampton, Towcester and surrounding villages.
